    Undergraduate to Graduate degree AROTC

If I fail to meet 12 credits per semester can I be dis enrolled or do I just not get payed scholarship for that semester? I.e. If I'm taking like 6-9 undergrad credits and 3-6 grad credits, and they say that's not ok. Do I run the risk of having my contract dropped and not commissioning or do I...

    Undergraduate to Graduate degree AROTC

Hello. I am a 4 year scholarship AROTC MSI cadet. I joined the program and contracted with intentions of doing an undergrad degree. However I'm finishing extremely early. I will be starting my first masters course this summer semester of 2017. Is there a way to have a scholarship converted to...

    Army ROTC Advice

ROTC is a job. Treat it that way. Don't sh*t where you eat. Probably the one most important piece of advice I would give.

    What College ROTC is like

Jrotc has little to no advantage besides knowing rank and how to turn in formation. ROTC is split in 2 groups. People who care and people who don't. It's a lot of bs. It's a lot of stupid games. But it has its ups and downs. Labs will be fun and not fun. I honestly believe program quality in...

AROTC Height/Weight vs Body Fat %

My battalions weight and height were taken about 2 weeks after school started at the first APFT. If you fail you go get tape tested. If you're in shape don't worry about it at all. Word of caution.. Had my 2nd APFT yesterday. Went to the scale (little did we know it was broken). It comes up...

    Army ROTC CULP

I heard spots are normally not announced until December to January. A cadet from my unit who did culp last year said he didn't find out until Jan 10.

    Updates to Boarded Application

When I applied the ROO/PMS I spoke with told me it would help the score overall. The problem is it doesn't effect the board portion or interview portion of scoring. I was told however, that it will change the overall earned point value.

    Updates to Boarded Application

I don't think there is any way to know for sure. A lot of the application and board process are a mystery. If you have some thing to add, I'd highly recommend it. The only reason I didn't add my last varsity letter when I applied was my interviewer said 2 varsity letters would max points...

    Norwich AROTC Training

At my school we were told there is a test called the CWST (combat water survival test). I believe they said in order to commission you must pass it. Test consists of multiple events ranging from swimming a medium distance in ACU/OCP to swimming a short distance in ACU/OCP with a duck (rubber...
