I see. But even if I don't get an interview it doesn't mean that I'm not a competitive candidate right? And I attended a RC briefing near where I live back in May 2016.

At what point of the application process will I be contacted to be interviewed by either my RC or FFR?

I am taking my CFA next week. Should I videotape all of my events just in case my RC emails me the same thing to be on the safe side.

About the overnight visit, there is a possibility of doing one without getting a LOA by asking my RC? Assuming I'm a competitive candidate. I'd really love to do an overnight visit but haven't received a LOA.
