"I will just add a practical consideration as to if he leaves now, he proabably won't start a college until the spring. If so why not give the academic year a try and if things doesn't work out leave after the first semester, while applying to different colleges to start the spring semester."...

I received the same call. It's for the endowment for the Air Force Academy. Google Air Force Academy Fund, and you'll get lots of info. I received a letter and calendar from them explaining what they do about a week before their call, and they said in the letter to expect a fundraising call...

Does anybody know if he leaves at the end of this first semester, does he have to pay out of pocket for the issued items that his cadet pay hasn't covered yet? He's telling me that the way he understands it, he will be issued around $10,000 worth of gear by the end of the year, but his cadet pay...
