Just heard from my son---he just met with his CO and was congratulated for receiving the 3 year scholarship!!! He's at UVA and is beyond happy!!!

Unfortunately, DS just got an email from Warner letting him know he wasn't selected for an interview or a nomination possibility....This is the email content: It is with regret that I must inform you that you have not been selected for an interview for a nomination to one of the United States...

It is district 3. What their office told me is that they receive information regarding anyone applying to USMMA, in VA, and so they reach out to them. The deadline is next week....

Thank you! Yes, he feels good about the interview last week. There will be approximitely 100 interviews though! We learned that initially appx. 160 were scheduled, but only around 100 responded. That IS a lot! Staying hopeful....
