I received a 4 year AROTC scholarship and am medically qualified. However, I do not meet the minimum weight for my height. Im about 5'8" and weigh 117. I dont have any ailments but being skinny runs in my family. Will this affect me contracting this fall?

Im not 100% sure but I believe they just flat out write you a $5000 check every semester.

I received a 4 year AROTC Scholarship this year. I have opted to use it for room and board. I spoke with my ROO today and he said the checks wont be coming any sooner than October due to some type of "new system." Any other ROOS or cadre that can weigh in on this?

I think writing the essays was the most time consuming. Maybe not difficult though. Its just the questions aren't clichés and they really make you think.

Yes. I have 26 hours. 30 being the max to be considered a freshman. However, I still planned on staying in college all 4 years regardless. I just took the classes so I could have a lighter course load in college.

I'm confused by your first sentence. Are you saying a decent amount of 3 years get upgraded to 4 years or are you saying that that is unlikely?

So after commissioning would I owe 3 years of AD or 4 years?

I'm not being ungrateful l. Really. I didn't even know a 3 year scholarship existed for freshmen so it was kind of discouraging when I saw winner and I thought that was gonna be a 4 year and it turns out its a 3 year
