Don't discount ERAU. My daughter received an AFROTC Type 7 in the first round and the Diamond Eagle scholarship ($26,000 a year). Along with Bright Futures, a grant and some other smaller scholarships, she's set if she does not get an Academy.

Good news! The JROTC instructor told her she was holding the bar incorrectly. He showed her the proper grip and she got over 40 seconds! She passed her CFT. Thank you!

Thank you for the replies. She is bound and determined to get that pull up. Sadly, that pulled muscle set her back and there is no way to get it before her test this week. They already offered her a month to heal (she injured herself just before her CFT) so not sure they will offer again...

I'm a big believer that when a door shuts, you can open it again. That's how doors work. If this is your dream, focus on the reapplication process. In the meantime, look at a Plan B or even Plan C school. Best of luck to you.
