I was rejected from NASS as well on April 14 of last year (2015). I got in to USNA in January, though. Don't worry too much about NASS.

For all of you in this situation with the disappearing LOA, I talked to admissions this morning and all fully qualified appointments were posted around 10 AM. They also told me that the MOC is right if they said you are being offered an appointment.

I for one was kind of behind in the process compared to most of the people on here. I finished everything but CFA in October, then did the CFA on Nov. 4. I actually had some problems with scheduling my BGO interview, so I did not complete that until Dec. 16. My first nomination came on Dec. 17...

I had the same thing happen. LOA showed up and is now gone. I did receive a call from my MOC and he said I would be contacted by admissions on Tuesday with some sort of formal notification (he alluded to an email or phone call).

Just received an LOA! Rob Portman told me I will be receiving full appointment on Tuesday.

In an unexpected twist I just received an offer of appointment on Senator Portman's slate!!!!! USNA 2020

I was just awarded a 4-year scholarship. Went on first thing this morning and it was posted!

My nomination from Portman came through first (Dec . 17). I didn't hear from my Congressman until Dec. 26. I did get a letter from Sen. Brown saying they would not be offering me a nom because I got one from Sen. Portman.

So I've been really anxious about this whole process. It got out to my classmates and teachers that I'm applying to USNA a couple months ago, and now people are constantly asking me about the process and trying to assure me that I'll get in. That being said, I'm wondering how many appointments...
