Thank you gentlemen and will do!! I only ask because many people (including current marines) have been giving very mixed answers for the shoulder surgery but most have said I'd be fine regarding the hernia repair. I have not yet made contact with an OSO but only a marine recruiter.

I know this should be posted in the DoDMERB section, but since I would go to MEPS instead, I believe it was appropriate to post in this discussion. I'm a freshman in college right now and I'm very interested in applying to the Marine's PLC program for a commission. I'm not sure if I would pass...
