Did anyone else receive an email today asking what your intentions were in regards to being on the wait list?

Can anyone estimate the number of applicants that are usual on the wait list this time of year? Also, does anyone have any insight on the number of appointments that were offered from the wait list after May 1 in previous years? Just wondering like everyone else what the chances of being offered...

Thanks all, DD is a college student and has taken a plebe like schedule this year. If she is fortunate enough to receive an appointment she would most likely be a Government major and would be thrilled to not have to take Physics 2.

My DD has been wait listed and we are looking for a list or matrix of the core classes that cadets take for the first year or two at the academy. I'm familiar with the plebe schedule at Navy but cant seem to find the same info for CGA.

The roller coaster ended for DD yesterday as well. Second time getting the email and portal update "turned down". What a ride it has been, all I can say is that we are all emotionally exhausted! Our DD has learned so much throughout this process, we have no doubt that she will be successful...

DD got her class of 2020 turn down Feb. 21, as the days tick by she is losing hope. There have already been many more re-app appointments listed this year, I think last year there was a total of 4 on the list.

DD still CPR, College Re-App, going on two years of this..... she is really losing hope since several re-apps already have appointments.

DD is still waiting. Maybe this will be the week. I'm guessing they will appoint around 60 college apps, if 3 are listed lets assume thats 10% which would mean maybe another 30 appointments. Stay positive.... its been a long road!

Unfortunately receiving a Principal nomination to USNA does not carry the same weight as it does at USMA. My DD has a Principal this year and a recruited athlete and is sweating it. She was told that there are typically between 150-170 college apps per year. Last year USNA gave 60 appointments...
