I just looked right now and the Thayer hotel has days open for the 26th through 28th. Unfortunately, you can't cancel any reservations. Not sure why that is considering they double their prices for "Special Dates". I wouldn't think they'd have a problem filling the hotel then.

How did he decline the USMA at this late date? Was the option to decline still available on the portal, or did you just send them an email after having previously accepting?

They only had the Belleville C390 Hot weather tactical boot at the local military base. Is that a good boot, or should I buy something else online? I figure if he needs a winter boot we can buy it later. Will this boot be usable with both the UCP and OCP uniforms?

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't looking for a specific program, rather an idea of what kind of support, if any, cadets get from the community. I was just listing some of the thing I've seen and/or heard were available to cadets at USAFA. As many have posted here, the cadets really benefit from it.
