Ha! Yes we warned him. Hubby went to boot there too, so he knows! Luckily we live in SC so he has gotten use to the humidity! He has also been to PI several times with the NJROTC, so he somewhat knows what to expect. I'm more worried than he is! I need to join another forum for that!

Thanks everyone! After several emails he finally got the answer he was expecting. The portal still hasn't updated though. Good thing we started Plan B a couple months ago and he is more than excited to leave for boot camp July 5th!

Normally if they get that letter that means 'No' and here are the other paths available to you. My son received his "no" via email. If DS hasn't checked his spam folder it might be there. Glad to hear someone is finally searching for the actual status. Good luck! That's what I was figuring but...

I agree the status update seemed odd. He received a mass email on Friday from someone with other options so he responded asking if that was the decision, and was told no. The guy asked for his info and told him he would get his answer yesterday. I just wanted to see if others were still waiting...
