the staff straight up just told everyone that ST is no longer a mandatory, pass/fail event.

I’m a Mid and I just got back from NWPT 1. All S/T itierations outside of NWPT 1/2 have been cancelled. Sea Trials is no longer a mandatory program and is not pass/fail. I’d be surprised if S/T survives into 2019-2020.

Does anyone know when the Sea Trial dates will be for Phase 2 and onwards? Also is there any word on the situation regarding the additional 2/C Cruise?

I have to also say that all three of us were scholarship recipients in high school so were contractually bound to the Navy. Brown was obligied to provide us with all necessary tools to allow us to fulfill our end of the service contract but it’s unclear what the situation would be for college...

It is pretty hard, and may even be harder than getting into the college you want to attend for NROTC... There are a lot of moving parts (literally, like the PFT) and the interview, which actually matters unlike many college interviews. But the key is that's it's not impossible.

I've read somewhere that you don't even need to be able to pass the PRT immediately... I think you have a year to do that
