    Question for graduates and upperclassmen

Hello! I'm a 3-dig, and I need some help regarding changing majors. I thought I knew what FAS was going to be like but I was very wrong. I didn't realize (in the end) I can't force myself to be interested in reading and writing a bunch of papers. I've asked some people about how they chose...

    Validating classes

That’s another major thing I’ve heard because I am looking into the intelligence community but in order to be more competitive I need to minor in a language and travel abroad? And apparently the only way to do that is validate stuff earlier. Does anyone know any way to take summer classes to...

    Validating classes

so I’m planning on *trying* to validate English and Calc and whatnot but it’s really not going to happen since I did not put enough effort or thought into preparing consciously for the exams. How many classes will I take a day if I don’t validate them vs if i do? Also, what are some major...

    Leaving academy after 3 years

I'm not sure about this one. I think you need to pay a debt if you aren't doing ROTC. You don't need to answer this if you don't want to, but why is she leaving?

    Losing weight

I was worried about that--the altitude. It's already hard for me as it is to run (I'm improving tho) but I can't imagine how hard it is going to be for me up there. I'm worried I'm going to be one of those people who throw up. Do you have any tips so I can prepare myself for that altitude?

NASS 2018 and questions for girls

The max is 6:30 or somewhere around there so 7 minutes isn't "slow". Bring pads or tampons or whatever you use. If you're on your period during a water-involving activity, and you don't use tampons then just tell your squad leader and they should be able to opt you out of it.

    Application Process

Sounds like you want to be a doctor. Awesome. Would you rather be a doctor or an officer? If former, then go to a civilian school. If latter, then read on. By recommendation, do you mean nomination? Connections won't and shouldn't help. Specs do the talking in the selection part so don't bank on...

Best Degree to get for Air Force Intelligence Officer

I saw it on a forum somewhere :/ Something on the lines of “it’ll help develop analyzing skills and understand dense complicated information..” but forget it, I don’t know why I took that advice seriously.

    Will I Get DQd

What worries me is that you know it is wrong yet you say you will CONTINUE TO DO SO. Seriously, what kind of remorse is that? I do not believe this kind of attitude and mindset is fit for serve in the military. Please reconsider.

Which major did you choose and why/how?

Ive looked through USAFA’s list on majors and researched a lot about many of them but It seems like it’s impossible for me to decide which major I want to do more. For those who have graduated, how did you find which major you were interested in if you had never majored in it? For example, Id...

How to help with the wait...

The way I see it is that once all the Ivy League schools and other top tier schools start releasing their decisions, there’s going to be a lot more “action” on what USNA does because the appointments they’ve offered are going to start getting accepted or declined. So maybe early April, late...
