I would put extra effort into socks: black socks for low quarters, white socks for PT and wool socks for boots. This just an opinion based on Pluck feedback.

Sorry for being a wet blanket but shouldn't this be a cadet-led project? I know it's all in good fun but nonetheless I express my opinion.

In my observation and experience, if you are coming out of NY, NJ, CT, PA, OH...etc, prepping for WP and life at WP for cadets is different from those out of ND, WY, NM, ID...etc. Everything is just a bit more challenging from the remote lands due to many factors. Factor that in, I recommend.

If you have not gotten the info yet: flight and hotel the night before are reimbursed but no guarantees the money will ever hit their account. It's a black hole from m experience. Plebes navigating WP treasurer info is not high on their priority list and I guess you submit and hope the money...

Every year is different but you probably will not be allowed out beyond walking priveleges. And man oh man I wouldn't be thinking about my cousin's wedding right now. I would be preparing for Beast and doing what it takes to be accepted into the Corps of Cadets. Just my two cents.

You will get all the info you need. Purchase as early as possible. If you do by mail they never fit right. Supplies are limited. It can be a hassle. Start early in everything. Enjoy it.
