my son received a campus based scholarship. Apparently it was based on his GPA. He did two years at a community college and then transferred to a 4 year. He joint AROTC as an MS3. The ROO submitted scholarship request and he was approved about two months later.

It really depends on the competition within your district. My DD had the same credentials but she also received an offer to prep. The competition in our district was fierce so she was thrilled with the offer.

Currently in the process of asking for additional support. Not a lot of options currently which is what is making this so difficult.

This is what I’m hoping for. She’s at a base that has had a lot of problems and she chose to go there to make a difference. She’s definitely making it happen but not without a lot of lost sleep. Part of the deal. She keeps me in the loop daily which makes me worry more.

They’re ranked by their military grade. The PMS ranks them and they also get a ranking by their peers. My DS didn’t not rank high as he struggled his first year as an MS3. He’s doing great now but he’s already been ranked.

My understanding is OML will be used as a tie breaker if there a two competing for a branch. Correct me if I’m wrong. It’s a shame for my DS because he came is as an MS3, knowing nothing and struggled a bit. Has been doing great since advance camp and that may be the only reason he was still...

DS says there’s 3,060 AD spots and he’s ranked 3,100. What are the chances he’ll still get AD? That’s what he’s hoping for.

Can anyone explain Quartermaster and Ordnance? My DS’s two Most preferred and he’s getting mixed advice.

Good to know! My son has been having trouble connecting with his PMS so this is good information. I wonder how the Preferred rating moles? He has a few 2’s. I ask my son these questions but never get a clear answer!
