Is it worth it to take my CFA again?

It can never hurt to try and improve your record, as you are competing against candidates who maxed out their CFA.

    Acceptance Chances

I would say it is difficult to say if you have a chance. You will be competing against others who have similar and better records. On average, USNA only accepts about 7% of those who apply. That means 93% don't get appointments. Do everything you can to improve your record. Most importantly...

    Dilemma

Apply. Do not give up. Let USNA decide if your ACT score is too low. If USNA believes you've got what it takes, they may offer you to attend the Prep School or give you a Foundation Scholarship. Do keep trying to improve your ACT. Take a prep course. Take the SAT. Have a back up plan.

    BGOs

As a BGO and an Area Coordinator, it is my personal policy to respond to all emails/voicemails within 24 hrs. I tell my BGOs to make contact within a week (preferrably sooner). The best way to locate a BGO is to go to the AC list, which is updated by Admissions. Tell the AC the name of your...

    Why the hate?

I served with Nicole Waybright during the tour she writes about in her book. I can vouch that everything she writes about is absolutely true. I highly recommend her book.

    Women at USNA

I served with H.A.G. for 18 months and experienced events as described in the article (literally). Nicole Waybright, who is mentioned in the article, wrote a fantastic book. I would recommend it.
