    2018 Army Navy Game Tickets

I was thinking they would be in 132-137 because when you look at StubHub, those sections are grayed out.

    2018 Army Navy Game Tickets

Does anyone know what sections the Corps of Cadets will be in?

    Army/Navy Football

DD at USMA will be taking the Boomerang Bus, while others use a pass to stay in Philadelphia for the weekend. She doesn’t have the funds or connections to make arrangements for the weekend. Even though this is mandatory, you either make your own plans or you take the B.B. which will take you...

Can multiple candidates be appointed from the same school district?

My DD is at USMA while another young lady from her school (albeit two years older) is at USNA.

    West Point Admissions

USMA Admissions is currently doing a live feed Q & A on Facebook until 8:00pm Eastern. It may be short notice, but it sounds like they engage in this outreach often, so if they don’t address your questions this time watch the posting and follow them for the next live season.

Was an academy your first choice?

The danger with creating a Plan A, B, C...etc is the opportunity for rank to allow doubt to creep in. I didn't get Plan A which means I need to "settle" for Plan C. Work hard for as many options as you can create for yourself, choose the one that fits the best, and allow that to shape you into...

Was an academy your first choice?

DD declined AROTC at Rose Hulman & Purdue and she turned down USAFA & USNA in order to select her first choice, USMA.

    Amazing Week

We spent A-Day more low key...school supply shopping, dinner, catching up on stories, naps, etc. Having limited time away from WP definitely had an impact on what you could do in that window of time. We actually spent some time in NYC just prior to R-Day. I decided at the last minute to drive...

    Amazing Week

Y'all have taken this thread in a different direction than I had intended. I'm simply offering perspective for next year's parents on how I would have planned my initial visits differently having gone through them this year. If you wish to discuss the pro & cons of USMA (or any other academy)...

    Amazing Week

If I knew then what I know now, I would do things slightly different...from a parent perspective. I was lucky enough to witness R-Day, March Back, and A-Day. All three were amazing for very different reasons. If you can only attend one event make sure it's A-Day! If you have some...

Does the nomination process change if you're looking at multiple SAs?

For my DD last year, the senators only allowed one SA interview each, however our rep conducted one interview for all the SA's. Senators typically have a much larger pool of candidates to select from than the representatives so they tend to spread them out as such.

What an amazing day! We spoke for over an hour. Got lots of momentum to finish Beast now. Thank you to all the hosts for this experience.

    New cadet visitation day

My DD is secretly hoping to be "adopted" by a family who has a cat. Thank you for your hospitality! It is greatly appreciated by the NC's and parents everywhere!

    CBT Letters

Just got the phone call. She said she mailed a letter but we haven't received it yet. She did receive the one we sent to her on R-Day from Ike Hall, and asked for more (we mailed out two more earlier today). She was hoarse but sounded good. She was really concerned about not going over the...

    USMA 2021 Class Motto

This is only the third time in USMA history to have a "consecutive" class... 1819 1920 2021 Surely, someone can use that nugget and turn it into something.

    March 16,.....1802

As did my DD. I echo your sentiments. Unfortunately, we have a family vacation planned so we won't be attending this year. I'm sure this is but one of many future opportunities to gather and honor the history and traditions of this amazing institution.

President Trump's national security adviser resigns.

That to me is the most important reason for having freedom of the press...to serve as watch dogs.

President Trump's national security adviser resigns.

Should love/faith be conditional, or should one think more globally to the bigger picture? Don't rough seas make better sailors? When things are bad, or perceived as bad depending on perspective, then isn't that the time when leadership is needed the most? Our country is a work in progress...
