I was wondering if I apply to an NROTC scholarship do i mention it in a college application. Or do I to apply to the college first.
Basically I'm confused about the process
What is the process of choosing your career like at the naval academy? Say I want to be a Navy Seal, but don't make the cut, could I choose marine corps or any other option after that? Do the admission and staff choose based on your performance?
My father spent 3-years serving in the Army during Vietnam. Does this qualify me for a presidential nomination?
I was going to apply to the USNA and for an NROTC scholarship for the citadel. Will I need two nominations?
1/ Upon graduation would I be a marine 2nd Lt.?
2/ Is it under contract I do a certain amount of military service?
3/ How is the acceptance rate compared to the USNA?
4/ Is the Citadel for all branches of the military?
I was wondering about the Naval Academy Prep School acceptance rate because its my dream to do to the USNA but I don't know how competitive my grades are.
Should I expect a waiver for stomach problems I had a few years ago. Which don't bother or I haven't had to take medications for in the last three years.
I was wondering what percentage of people are allowed into NAPS and the percentage of people who after graduating from NAPS are allowed in the Naval Academy.
I don't need exact numbers, anything would be helpful
I am not involved in any school sports however I am a first degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts. I'm working toward a second degree black belt and have won multiple medals at worldwide tournaments.
Is this good for USNA or are they looking for varsity letters.
