So, I applied last year. got wait-listed. then rejected :( and now i'm applying again and all of the forms are already intact and have the green check mark from last year (besides stuff like the CFA) , but a couple of the things on my candidate portal like the CAR and the academic information...

Are AP scores validated at West Point? It's about time to start signing up/paying for AP tests and I was just wondering if i'll get any credit for taking and passing my exams.

How does that work, exactly? I mean, I've found that those who have LOAs get their appointments like a month-ish after sending everything in which is cool but for those who don't have LOAs and send everything in, do they also get a reply in that month-ish range or does West Point send out a mass...

From what I've gathered through these threads, LOAs are assurances to an appointment. What then, exactly, is an appointment? is it basically an admission? What is the difference, if any?

How concerned should I be if I haven't yet received an LOA or perhaps don't receive one at all?
