I noticed from the 2013 graduation photos that none of the grads had their USNS pins on. What changed? My son wore his his last year when he graduated and still wears it when doing reserve duty.

Our DS recently returned from his second sea year. He took a $200 taxi ride from Beaumont, TX to the Houston airport after spending $80 in a hotel the night before. All of this was charged to my Amex card. What are his chances on getting reimbursed by KP in a timely manner?

Our son will be heading off to Japan to meet his MSC ship soon. Along with his clothes and sextant, he has a heavy box of books that weighs around 60lbs.I really don't want him bringing these heavy books on the plane. Is there a way to FedEx the books ahead of him to MSC?
