Checked the mail today to find a letter from the Head of Scholarships at my school and I have received a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship. Only thing is on the form it says I received a 4-year high school scholarship and I have no idea what that is. haha.

Found out today no scholarship but its most likely because I got all my info squared away about a week before the April board. So just got to reapply next year i guess.

Oh, I just assumed they would be gone by now. When my contact gets back to me I will make sure to ask about campus based scholarships.

Oh yeah I will be pursuing one next year but to my knowledge I can start that path until next year.

Still no info on my scholarship. Taking that as no scholarship now.

My back-up is to reapply for a campus based scholarship next year. I have a $2k scholarship per year at the moment so that will help a bit but I'm really hoping I dont have to resort to that. But hey! Everything happens for a reason.

I got the same as you. I don't understand why though, but whatever, ill be doing ROTC no matter what.

My PMS told me this: "I am told that the board offers will be posted sometime next week."

I was told we will be lucky if it is done by the end of this month, but definitely be done early may. Im hoping to hear by/on Friday or Saturday.

I was told that too but my ROTC advisor told me that it wasnt able to make it to the March board in time. Im assuming there was a back up or something.

Phew. I wasnt passed. My file actually didnt make it into the March board for some reason. So I will make it or break it this next board.

Yea I know but the thing is, the ROTC Scholarship director my school of choice said that I was a highly competitive candidate so it just seems odd that I would keep getting pushed back.
