Class rep Thank you for your responses, I appreciate the info. Do the C4C class reps generate more "attention", or as the cadets call it, "beatings" from upperclassmen simply because they are a class rep? If so, why is that?

What are the duties and expectations of a C4C class rep? Why is a cadet selected to be class rep, or is it a randomly selected role? Does the assignment last for the entire 4 dig year?

A year ago my son also received a SS rejection letter. He was very dissapointed and discouraged, but he still worked hard toward his goal. Now he is a class of 2014 appointee! If you really want it, keep working toward it!

It appears there is a difference between the "You're a candidate" and the "You're an Official Candidate" postcards sent out. My son received the "official Candidate" card also confirming his nomination from his Senator.
