Are fourth class cadets permitted to have cell phones?

So i know it sounds kind of petty...but as a fourth class cadet entering at BCT, do i (a woman) NEED to cut my hair to a certain lenghth? Or can i leave it long and just put it in a bun? Ive read up on it and seen both ways...what is the current policy?

So i recieved a postcard saying i am an "official candidate" and i have a nomination as well as a LOA... What will be coming next? An appointment packet with more info? Will i need to let them know that i "accept"? And how soon will those items come?
