The CFA administered at the USAFA Summer seminar is not official. You will need to do it at another SS or have your high school athletic director administer it. DS faxed his scores from NASS for his USAFA application.

My son got a waiver too, but not from DODMerb, it was from the Academy, but still no appointment. He does have an ROTC scholarship but pending on a waiver. It's been a stressful month and it doesn't look to get any better. My emotions are running so high.

Does anyone know the process for the cadets entering the prep school? Any type of ceremony during that weekend etc. Do we get to see the kids all day Sunday before classes start on Monday July 17th?

DO you have the dates of when Prep school starts? Is it the same time as the academy?

We don't know what do do. My son just receive a 4 year AROTC scholarship, but he has to be medically qualified. I am not sure what do to now. I have a feeling he will never be qualified due to hearing loss in his right ear. I am sickened that he will loose this scholarship. I am not sure...

My son is going through the NROTC scholarship application process. I was wondering if the Officer interview is different then the Board selection interview. Also, should he wear his JROTC uniform to the officer interview?

DS is heading to Session 2...(we live in Maryland) If other posting are correct the CFA will be administered on Sunday. The weather outlook calls for hot/humid weather and then the rest of the week should be cooler. But hot and humid here can be nasty :frown:.... so hydrate, hydrate, hydrate...
