We don't know what do do. My son just receive a 4 year AROTC scholarship, but he has to be medically qualified. I am not sure what do to now. I have a feeling he will never be qualified due to hearing loss in his right ear. I am sickened that he will loose this scholarship. I am not sure...
My son is going through the NROTC scholarship application process. I was wondering if the Officer interview is different then the Board selection interview. Also, should he wear his JROTC uniform to the officer interview?
DS has all the items on the packing list ready to put in his suitcase. However, I was wondering if there are any additional items past attendees found they should have brought. Another academy has a thread about items they might want to bring but aren't on the packing list.
My son is on the waitlist for NASS. We live in Maryland so travel is not a problem. Does anyone know if anyone was ever pick from the waitlist a day or 2 before a session???
Also, has anyone on this waitlist been chosen yet for any session this year???
My son recieved his letter today with his candidate number and login information. Lots to do now. Still hoping for a NASS letter since he is on the "waitlist"
Good luck to all.
My son just receive a letter stating he was accepted to the Summer Seminar wait list.
Does anyone know how often people get picked up off the wait list?
I guess it's better then a rejection. Fingers crossed again.
basketball throw 64 feet
push ups 44
sit ups 58
Pull ups 15
shuttle run 9.53 seconds
Mile Run 6.38
I was wondering how that compares to others and if it's competative enough.

My son will be going to Summer Seminar, session A. I have read on other threads it would be nice for them to bring some goodies for his bunk mates.
Any thoughts or ideas???
I am trying to get the scholarship forms for my son. We keep going to the link but getting an error message. My son went to his career counselor today and she is getting the same message. Does anyone by any chance have a valid link or can send me the paperwork so he can start the process...
