Same story here for DS… TWE from USNA last week then TWE in the guise of a golden envelope this morning from USAFA. He did already accept an NROTC scholarship last weekend so somehow the TD today did not break his heart as much as last week’s TD. But, those who are still in the waiting game...

We had a glimmer of hope reading the false alarms on the threads so convinced my DS to check his portal again. It is “Turned Down” still. He could really move on now… NROTC.

DS got informed by email of the turn down. He is still so distraught to check his portal yet, maybe later when he recovers. :)

The wait for us is over. DS was Turned Down today. Though it is not all bad as he did get the NROTC National Scholarship offer so it is still a great path for him to become a Naval officer. My older DS is Class of '26 whom he was following the footsteps of. At least he could move on now. So...
