I had trouble on Friday and assumed it was due to high volume because it was the last day to have all the info in for the early action deadline. Someone responded to my inquiry saying that Coast Guard was aware of the problem and was fixing the issue. I do have access today.

Is anyone having trouble logging into their application? My son is trying to add his essays and when he clicks on the link it says "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)". We've tried tying the url in directly and same message...:confused:

My DS had a similar issue and he asked his ALO for advice. She referred him to his USAFA counselor. Contact info is on the home page of your application when you log in.

Thank you for responding...many people read this post but you were the only one to answer! Either it's a dumb question or I wasn't clear in what I was looking for :-) The directions on the form were straight forward, but they are addressed to the "school official". What made me question it was...

Can anyone tell me if page 2 of Part III of the application is only for the Guidance Counselor to fill in, or do the other teachers supplying a LOR need to fill this in as well (like a cover sheet to their letter)?

I'm a little confused about the service obligation. I see that there is an obligation for both maritime and Naval Reserve. My DS would like to go active duty upon graduation. How does that effect the dual obligation? Any insight is appreciated!

Thank you, this makes much more sense! The USMMA letter said to call DoDMERB to let them know he had already had a physical for a SA, guess my son was just a little to quick off the mark :smile:

My son has just received his candidate letter from USMMA which tells him to let DoDMERB know if he has already had a physical for another service academy. He called today to do this and was told they could not just add USMMA...is there a step we are missing? (He has been qualified by DoDMERB for...

My DS is eligible and has applied for a presidential nom for USNA. He is applying to multiple SAs and found out today that USAF has made him a candidate. Can anyone tell me if this nom works like DODmerb..."one application applies to all" or if he needs to submit for each SA? Thanks for any info!
