    "transfer" between service academies

You can if you have the grades, SAT and ECs......This fine FB player had to apply and go thru the same process every other classmate of his class had to go thru to receive an appointment. Many folks do a year either at post grad or at college before going to West Point.

    What should I do?

Oh by the way- Army Rifle is a varsity sport at West Point- won a NCAA championship a couple of years ago...sent a cadet shooter to the last Olympic games. Coach Wigger certainly recruits...and recruits well! The good news for coach is that he only need 4 shooters to compete in NCAA rifle...

Cadet Suspended from West Point after getting beaten by Singers entourage

Jeremiah Weed- We used to tailgate pretty good post lacrosse games up on the Hudson- most of our parents were from Long Island or Upstate- ie...Cuse). Our starting freshmen goalie (4 time All American) my senior year used to have the WEED brought by his parents. Surely plenty of beer to be...

    Business Major?

One other comment Just wanted to also state that some people just don't like Engineering...If you struggle with math or just don't like it - you certainly do not want to go technical.....there are certainly many other options at West Point.

    Airborne 3 Cancelled

To bad about the cancellation. The training can be taken later- I went as a cadet and I mumbled to myself that I should have done it after graduation. Why?- as a cadet I stayed in the barracks (no AC- 3d floor- GA in August)- ate in the mess hall. Officers stayed in the AC'd BOQ and...

Do intelligence officers ever see combat?

And no I wasn't trying to pick a fight. I was blown away by the statement "Long story short, officers of any kind rarely see action." Should have checked the source's Army experience, and realized that the statement was based his "Opinion" and on his perceptions. Which I now known is an...
