I think micro managing is one of their defining characteristics. Not because micro managing is the worst, but because it’s associated with distrust. Distrust is one of the worst traits leaders have in my opinion.

So if somebody enlisted they might wait a year to actually be sent to boot camp? How long did people used to have to wait to go to boot camp (in the army at least)?

I’m with you Bruno on Here Comes the Sun, I would’ve loved it today. Spent all day outside volunteering at DARE Day (just a bunch of inflatable rides), which barely anybody came to (so much for recruiting). Tomorrow I have a flight lesson scheduled. Lets hope for the sun!:thumb:

Is it just me or is it kind of weird that when secret things are found out the press thinks its a good idea to make it super public?

I had the way to solve it memorized for quite some time. I rarely actually finished them though. I didn’t care much to actually do it, I just liked figuring out how to do it. My record… absolutely no idea. not very fast.

Yep, there are generally much less flights in the winter than summer. Took me about 6 months, I know people who got it right after they had a uniform. I’m going for my Wright Brothers tomorrow, cant wait. But yeah by no means is it too late, I know somebody who joined a week before they...

I think there are obvious benefits, nobody can deny that there are. I just personally don’t like robots flying over the war zone. I’d rather a manned aircraft protect me. And I do feel bad for aspiring pilots stuck in a UAV.

I mean thats a good point, we spend a lot more time talking about things like the Cold War, WW1, WW2, Stalin, Hitler and other recent events. It would be impossible to learn all of that history without taking ridiculous amounts of time from other subjects like math, science and foreign languages.

They could be in support roles, or PsyOps, although I don’t know if that is in Delta Force. If you want to be in the 4 most recognizable SOF (the combat related ones being PJ SF SEAL and Recon). The answer is no. Nobody point out that there are other recognizable SOF but I wasn’t sure what...

That must have been really annoying to see before they got in trouble for it. I know some people who get far on their parents, it is annoying. I am glad to see this time they were caught for it.
