My son was able to switch his USNA summer session by letting the academy know he had a conflict.

While a Service Academy offers great opportunities, there are tremendous opportunities in many places. It sounds like your great opportunity lies in a different direction not at the Air Force Academy.

Remember, new test protocols and formats may change the scores required. Look at the percentiles of the current scores and then aim for a similar percentile on the new tes.

It depends as well on what courses you have taken and your scores on the individual parts of the SAT. If you have a low math or English scores prep school might be an option.

Pick the path that you most enjoy and then work hard. Both paths you mention here will need the same if you push yourself. I would think majoring in wrestling and with a minor in track is a path that leads to a great experience.

Look at where you might be stationed. That might help you to decide. It is hard to make a bad choice.
