I applied last year to NASS, and didn't get in. Currently awaiting a decision for C/O 2027, but I wish you the best of luck. Also, it's important to note, that after I was rejected, I was offered two CVW's and atteded both. Don't know why I was given two, but I try not to speculate.

Would anyone happen to know why a candidate would be offered two CVW's? This happened to me (One in March and October), and I've always wondered why some kids were given two. It's evident based off of some other posts, that this was not accidental, but I just wanted to bring it up in this forum.

When I went both times, the staff only referred to the students receiving the boxed meals, and even if it wasn't explicitly stated, it was only students who grabbed them.

Just received my disqualification from DoDMERB concerning an intolerance to lactose. Is it common for kids with food allergies, or any type of dietary intolerances to receive a medical waiver from USNA?

Is Lactose Intolerance a disqualifying condition? If so, is it normal to be granted a waiver for lactose intolerance?
