    Class Schedule

As a member of the class of 2019, my schedule is fairly decent. The amount of classes and timeline can really depend on if you are a recruited athlete (corp squad) or not. The people who make the schedules try to front load all corp squads' classes in the morning so they can go to practice in...

You will be issued ACUs and your ASU. In addition, you will receive your CAC during the summer basic training.

    No phone at USMAPS

I agree with the above comment. You will need to learn the self discipline to put the phone away when it is time to hit the books. To caveat, at the USMAPS, we have a time period where it is mandated that you study and do play on your electronics.

PCS to West Point from Active Duty

The form is called "Acceptance or Declination of Invitation to Attend USMAPS." It should show up on your portal along with another set of checklists of information you need to provide. I mailed mine, but I would suggest to see if you can upload it to your portal. Once you submit it, CALL...

PCS to West Point from Active Duty

PFC Turner, I was in your shoes when I accepted my appointment to the USMAPS class of 2015. You need to mail the "acceptance of offer" you received on your portal to USMA first. Once USMA has it, the re-assignment center, or what you call it, can generate your orders. This is where the fun part...

What happens if you can't give urine sample?

From my experience in the army, it's best to learn to overcome the anxiety. There will be plenty of UAs (urine analysis) in your army career. It's not like they are over your shoulder watching you. Trust me, they don't want to watch you just as much as you don't want them to watching. The...

West Point has the same height and weight standards as the regular army. If you meet their standards then you are good to go.

    USMA to USUHS

I have a similar plan to this. I want to major in life scrience and hopefully take the HPSP route directly after graduation. Specialize in psychiatry and deploy to help soldiers over there. Then after a few years I want to switch over to the chain of command in a hosptial and one day maybe...

    Late application?

What your son needs to do is finish the application. It's good that he received his commander's endorsement. I was told by my liaison that there is no rolling admissions this year for soldiers so we will find out in the first wave of appointments at the end of February. Good luck
