Evilleramsfan, good luck to your son!! Our ALO from last year said 2nd time appliers (freshmen in college) have better luck 2nd time around, and that about 30% of class is made up of 2x appliers. So I will be thinking of your family around October. Keep us posted.

Airpower 2013, when I mentioned the 30%, what I meant is....our USAFA counselor said in the past, about 30% of an incoming class came from post high school nominees, meaning they were in college, prep school or Falcon scholar or in military. I did not mean 30% of TWE nominees had already...

Birgitte, please call your MOC office, but I'm pretty sure you apply in the state where your permanent address is (home address, parent's house, wherever your home base is), not where your college is. I'll let others confirm this as well.

Polevault, I believe the only thing you don't need to redo for your reapplication (after July 1) is the DODMERB exam. I was told it is good for 2 years. Counselor also reminded us that 30% of USAFA class is usually comprised of post graduate HS kids, meaning already in college or prep school...
