If you are an engineering major your classes your freshman year should be very similar to plebe courses. For Virginia Tech at least, the first year you take Calc, Physics, Chem, and a writing class. I'm sure other schools are the same just look on the 4 year roadmap to be sure.

I know this ain't the USAFA page but I just got my Turn down from them. Kinda funny actually since Air Force was my branch of choice until a couple months ago after much thought and talking to people that the Navy is where I want to be. Here's to still waiting for USNA.

Mine did the same and I did it in December, date says 3/23/24. I never had a date received just a checkmark before that. I think several others have mentioned the same for them also.

Checking my portal after a while and the bgo interview i had all the back in December has had a checkmark since then but not it has a received date. Probably doesn't mean anything but interesting it took this long.

Bottom line; it's not that deep. You'll get a decision eventually and I would recommend to just wait for the phone call from the nominating source or the email for the portal updating. The time listed on the portal is likely for the entire site and not specific to one candidate.
