I apologize; I think I was looking at the Army ROTC list of scholarship winners. I actually cannot find a list of 2028 AF ROTC scholarship winners, though I know some were awarded in late 2023. I just don't know if any were awarded in this last board round.

I do see a few people added their names to the AF ROTC 2028 class thread since 3/31, though I don't know when their scholarship was awarded. Maybe the acceptances went out previously, and the rejections went out today.

DS was also not selected. Thankfully, he has a great option with Navy ROTC. I sure do hope some kids received the AF ROTC scholarship this board; otherwise, it feels like all the waiting and numerous decision date extensions were for nothing.

My son is pending from MN. I did see one appointment in February for a MN candidate, but I haven't heard of any others.

Confirming my son sees 4/22 as the new AFROTC decision date too. :(

My son is in a similar situation and wasn't accepted to his first choice school. Unfortunately his 2nd choice school NROTC unit is full. He's near the top of the waiting list for his 2nd choice school but there are no guarantees so we are planning to transfer his scholarship to his 3rd choice...

My apologies. I meant University of Denver and not Denver University. I will never understand why the school shortens it to DU when the full name is University of Denver. :)

I understand your point. Unfortunately, he's not very likely to get accepted to his first-choice school, so we wondered if he should reach out to his 2nd choice school (since he's waiting on an admission decision there, too). I guess we should have recommended that he order the schools differently.

My son received the same message multiple times, so he emailed admissions. Admissions said the only thing missing is the nomination, which is out of our control, and he can ignore the email.
