Hey guys, the ROO at my university said he was putting me up for a campus-based ROTC scholarship. Can anyone shed any light on how the process works more in-depth? The only info I have right now is that I'll know the results in roughly 2 weeks and that it's similar to how the national boards...
Unfortunately I would say based on past boards if you’re still B/UC then probably unlikely you’ve been chosen for a national one. Though that just means you should try looking into a campus based scholarship.
I don’t believe there’s anyway to do so and that’s why it’s recommended for some people to wait for later boards, so that they may be able to get a higher board score.
Can't speak on what the schools told but the trend in the past is the Thursday after the board first meets. They met on the 23rd of January last year and results were released on the 2nd of February.
I received an Ike Skelton ECP scholarship as well, even though I chose not to be considered for one. I will most likely reject it, but does this mean I’ve got good chances for the following boards to come or should I consider it more seriously?
