Email was from Army Cadet Command. He hasn't had a chance to check the portal, but I think the email said it would be updated later.

My son just got an email....UPGRADED to a 4-year scholarship from the 3-year. Happy dance time!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You guys might appreciate this...I'm waiting to make vacation plans for next year till I find out if DS stays with a 3-year (which is awesome) or gets a 4-year. Just how far ($$) can I travel.

I know we have been told for Army ROTC it does NOT cover graduate course work. My son will enter his freshman year with 70 credits. We've also been advised he needs to be there the full 4 years and they don't pay for a second degree. (Our plan is to make sure the credits he takes beyond what...

My DS got a 3-year to his top 3 choices. PMS said only 20% of applicants got a scholarship this round. :)

So happy for all the winners so far!! It's driving me crazy waiting for my son to get home today, after waiting all week. LOL

I'm an Air Force brat, and was thinking the same thing. The ironic-ness is this is bothering me (the waiting) more than my DS.

I say Thursday 5pm...they need to let us sweat a little more.

Curious what the views are on ROTC cadets and belonging to the "Honor's" program at their University. My DS has been invited to join. If he was staying a civilian I would encourage him to join, but I'm not sure the value past landing your first job (straight out of college).

I was too nervous to have DS check the website, so came hear hoping to see lots of excitement. I guess we wait.

DS is board ready...this momma has her fingers crossed.
