My son is retaking it in Feb also after some study courses this month. He got an email from West Point asking if he had any updated scores and he let them know he was taking it again and they did not say anything to the effect it would not be accepted or not to do it.

My son had this surgery June 2022. His was listed as "resolved" on his exam and did not require a waiver. His came back fully medically qualified. I would say there is a good chance you can get this waived.
