    Great post. It's heartbreaking to read all the TDs each year knowing how outstanding these kids are. For those that don't come off the WL, I hope they take inspiration from the high numbers of re-applicants each year.

    Not ideal, but nothing to panic over. Again, worst case scenario, you can take care of things there. Just communicate with them and let them know. They will work with you.

    NAPS & USAFA Prep School

    If you meet the conditions at the prep schools, you’ll get an appointment. If you go the prep school route, think of your Academy experience as a five year experience as opposed to a four year. Having a direct to USMMA is a good option, but it’s not the USNA or the USAFA if you know what I mean.

    Passing the PRT seems like the easiest condition to meet at NAPS. If you can't pass it after 10 months, you shouldn't be able to go on to USNA. How can you lead sailors and make sure they are meeting expectations and requirements if you can't meet them yourself?
