Yes, a Principal appointment on the portal is definite. If KP does things as they have done in the past, then you should get a BFE via FedEx in a few days. In that package will be a letter of acceptance that you will need to sign, date and return to KP if you are ready to commit. Congrats...

Thanks jasperdog and others! Yes, we are ready to strap ourselves in again.. We had another son graduate from KP in June. If this ride is as exhilarating and at times nerve-wracking as the last one, it's going to be a most interesting four years.

I would have your DS call the KP Admissions Dept. and ask if there is anything missing in his application. I don't know if that's the case when the portal says "On File."

It doesn't get any better than "Principal" status. You are in! Congrats. I think the Appointment letter tht you will soon get will say something about continued academic performance or maintaining good grades.
