Does anybody have the statistics for the number of advanced standings granted this year or the years to come?

I'm in the same boat as you. What I did is I committed to the school I would want to go not on scholarship.

Do you mean no scholarships available last fall? Also, do you know how hard it is to be awarded advanced standing these days?

Thanks for your encouragement! I just got denied by USNA so I could really use an NROTC scholarship to boost my spirits. Even if that doesn't materialize, I'll be doing NROTC as a college programmer. My goal is a commission and that's exactly what I'm going for.

I believe you are mistaken when you say they should reward those who applied early. I finished my application back in September. I have not heard a word yet I'm still in the running.

Is it a personal one-on-one meeting or one of those town hall things? If it's the former then I would definitely take it as good news (even though most MOCs inform you of an appointment over the phone).
