I spoke to my counselor at USAFA today and he said I didn't get into the academy, and I am over-qualified for the Prep school. A little disappointing but I still haven't received a TWE yet...

I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet which I find odd because a lot of people have received something, whether it was a BFE or a TWE. If I don't get a direct appointment to USAFA, does anyone know/have an idea/have an inside scoop from their MOC/ALO/USAFA Counselor about when I might find...

for those of you who received the TWE, did your online status change? I am yet to receive an envelope or have my status changed...

Same here in NY not many people have heard anything and my counselor, ALO, and MOC don't know a thing. I figured they might know something but nope.

I haven't received anything in the mail and my online status has not been changed (still Candidate/Complete). Is this a good thing? I don't know what to think of it because many have been receiving either BFEs or TWEs lately...

I called my counselor and he said they dont know anything, and we tried contacting my MOC's office but they didn't know either.. Maybe thats a good thing?

That is where I stand I think.. I have a 1790 overall SAT and a 3.6 GPA. My CFA is great and I have a ton of EC'S, including volunteer work as well as other programs outside of school, not to mention work experience...

To be considered for one of the prep schools, do you have to fill out the Falcon Scholarship app? Is it to late to do that? Will they send out USAFA Prep letters out later?

I agree I feel you. I'm reading alot of accounts of ppl getting appts and then hearing that they should've been received by now, so I'm planning ahead and outside USAFA for now because as of now, I have not received anything either. So I guess I can just hope for the Prep School maybe...
