I just got my acceptance letter today. Going to session 2!!

This is not what im basing my decision on, it just gives some insight as to how each service runs. I have done research for years and talked to pilots and aviators, I am just trying to help you reach your own decision. But like Mongo said, it seems like you already made up your mind.

Carrier, and Air Wing are both good books written by Tom Clancy. They give insight to the entire community; not just the pilots. And Carrier is one of the reasons I am trying to be a naval aviator instead of an AF pilot. But maybe these books can give you an un-biased view of each service. Good...

Yeah. I envy the west coast right now lol. They get to apply at 9. Im not sure if i am going to apply tonight, I am just going to look at the application. I might wait until the 10th when I get my SAT scores. We will soon see.

I know that the NASS application opens up on tues, and that it is better to apply early. But I get SAT scores back on the 10th, and my class rank for my new school on the 17th. I didnt do well on PSAT, but i feel like i did alot better on the SAT. Should I wait the extra few weeks to apply?

Thats what I plan on. And since it seems like from the link in navy2016's post that presidential and jrotc nominations are usually done faster than congressional nominations. So maybe it could benefit me because instead of sending a loa to a person still awaiting a nomination, and possibly not...

Thanks. I am used to using an apple computer. If I get in will I be able to bring my own small laptop after plebe summer to use instead of the windows computer? I am asking this because I don't want to buy a computer for college if I won't be able to use it.

I think I read somewhere that a computer is provided for students. Now I can't find any information on this. Does anyone have any details on what is or isn't provided?
