I have heard from several different sources that it is a good idea to purchase combat boots ahead of time to break them in before BCT. Is there a specific type that we need to get as far as brand or style in order to go with the uniform and be acceptable to wear during BCT.

Can anyone give me some useful hints on information that would be good to know going straight into the academy. Things that will we will be expected to know or have an idea about such as any USAFA trivia like the core values, moto, etc... and what would you recommend we do to prepare?
