Just one other thing to consider; don't underestimate the possibility of injuries during basic and / or AIT. Getting hurt, or some other incident which causes you to get held-over, could mess up your schedule and college start date.

I dont mean to revive an outdated thread, but I could use some help on this very same topic. I am having trouble locating either of these documents online. Can someone please provide me with a link or point me in the right direction? I can find the CC pamphlet but not the appendix.

FYI for January board scholarship recipients, my son's scholarship offer arrived in the mail today. Letter dated March 1st, reply required by March 31st.

Is this automatic or do we need to initiate the transfer request prior?

Does anyone know the process for this? And what factors affect the likelihood of it taking place? Is there a chance of losing the scholarship if you attempt the transfer and that doesnt work out? NMS*17, have you found out anything? :confused:

The scholarship status page has been changed from "You may check your DoDMERB status" to "You have been offered a scholarship to -" for my son indicating he has been awarded a scholarship to his #2 choice school. Anyone who hasnt heard from an ROO may want to check the status page.

I dont think your situation is so unique. We also focused on son's first choice school and will be making a mad scramble if the scholarship offer is for one of his other choices.
