‘Under Waiver Review’ to ‘Under DoDMERB Review’

My medical waiver status changed from ‘Under Waiver Review’ to ‘Under DoDMERB Review’ today. What’s the difference?

I don't know for certain, but when my DS's portal changed like that, his waiver showed up as granted the next day. My understanding which could be wrong is whichever entity was reviewing for a waiver has since provided info back to DoDMERB where they do a final review and then update the status (I imagine it could be both positive or negative).

My waiver just came back positive!
