“How many times has “worn/wear contact lenses or glasses (bring your eyeglasses no matter how old they are)” occurred?”

I take it to mean the following
  • Did you ever wear glasses? (or contacts)
  • Do you currently wear glasses? (or contacts).
  • If you stopped wearing them, was it because of corrective surgery?
  • If so, did your vision change again to require eyeglasses or contacts a second (or third or fourth time?)
  • Even if you had corrective surgery, bring your old eyeglasses so we can see what your former prescription was.
  • Be prepared to explain any and all of the above.
 
That is NOT what the question asks. Here is exactly what the question asks:

"{Do you} Currently have or have a history of: Worn/wear contact lenses or glasses (bring your eyeglasses no matter how old they are.) :wiggle:
 
Good morning sir. I understood the question but there is a numeric drop-box I answered 1 but, what is that related to?

This is how mine is then it asks for like dates and doctors and other stuff and I’m just confused. It’s wasn’t a yes or no question for me.

No disrespect sir, but I copy pasted my question from the website. And mine isn’t a yes or no answer. I’m really confused Bc I don’t know how many times I’ve been asked to bring glasses. I really appreciate the help you offer us. It can sometimes be really confusing and you clear that up

With deference to people smarter than me, I'd think the numeric dropdown is trying to establish a history of your vision. If you select "3" for instance, does it subsequently ask for 3 dates of visit to your eye doctor, with subsequent prescription given?

How should I answer the questions that follow the once. Should I just put info down for my eye doctor and how long I have been going there?
