Today is 100th day at the Academy. 100 days until 2011 graduates, and also (by tradition) a day in which the 4/c switch places with the 2/c for a day. Let the fun begin.

At least you (2012) got to "re-train" them (2014) last night.

Do the 4/c's (2/c's for the day) really get into it? What kinds of things do they do? Isn't it a little crazy to yell at an upperclassmen when they all have to go back to being 4/c's tomorrow?

It is really more of a morale/fun thing for the 4/c than anything else. We definitely don't yell at the 2/c or anything (unless you want to get harassed the next day) but there are a few 2/c who square and call you sir or ma'am. And we (the 4/c) will have a training session with the 2/c tonight where we can pretty much do whatever we want with the 2/c. Today is pretty much just a taste of what we can expect when we have carry on. I got to tell you, just being able to carry books to class without a backpack has been great.

I found 100th day to be more fun as a 2/c...however refreshing as a 4/c.

The 2/C are the ones who make it fun. For example, they formed a flying "v" formation and bussed to Mac Hall following the drum major of the regimental band (baton and all) singing Tik Tok. Once they got to Mac, they continued bussing inside until they got to their classroom. They also re-created the dayroom in the passageway by moving every single piece of furniture.

And 100th day officially ended at 2000...it was a lot fun and definitely a good break from the 4/c squaring, bracing, etc. Now it's on to Boards and the homework I have been procrastinating all day because of Facebook and music privileges.

It was definitely a great day. I'm definitely looking forward to Boards, Challenge of the Guardian, Carry-on, then 3/c Summer as we see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Academy feels totally different when you are able to be normal. :thumb:
