    I haven't yet heard of anyone being rescued or recovered. As usual the Hawaiian seas are extremely rough this winter. At this point I'm extremely doubtful of there being any survivors. Still praying for them all though.

    One of those Marines, Corporal Christopher Orlando, ...23, of Hingham, is the son of retired Massachusetts State Trooper Linda Orlando. Corporal Orlando served as a flight crew chief.

    Today outside Massachusetts State Police General Headquarters in Framingham, the American flag was lowered to half-mast.

    The Massachusetts State Police join the Orlando Family in thanking all who have expressed condolences. Our prayers are with the Orlandos and the other 11 families who have suffered the ultimate loss. Their sacrifice will ever be foremost in our thoughts. May God bless them. Semper Fidelis.
