2010 Summer Session Question

Hi,

My son was accepted for the summer session and sent his paperwork back at the end of January requesting the 2nd week session. Does anyone know when we will receive something back confirming he got the 2nd week session?

We want to make travel arrangements. He is going to the USNA summer session right after West Point. Is anyone doing that also?

Well, from what I've heard and personally experienced, most of the confirmation packets come back within 3 weeks (Mine came about 2 1/2 weeks after I sent my acceptance forms). Unless you live in Hawaii or something, it would be safe to say that after over a month, there is some kind of problem with your forms. I would call admissions immediately.

About going to NASS right after SLS, I thought about it, but then I got kind of worried about taking the NASS CFA without any rest from SLS. But, I guess it doesn't really matter; more of a personal opinion.

Check your son's portal. There should be a section with SLS travel arrangements/confirmation as well as info.

USMA to USNA

My son is also going directly from the USMA Session to USNA Session.

Amtrak has a train that goes from Newark Airport to Baltimore/Washington Airport.

Im not sure of whatexactly you are asking, but I thought I was the only one that got a late slip. Theyll send it, I got mine last month for week 1...

I actually have the same question... I sent my forms in last week and am still waiting impatiently for the confirmation.
